  1. Shooting you a pm
  2. Shoot me a pic and I'll see if I can get hubby to come on Friday to pick it up. Tomorrow's NFL draft so I'm sure he won't want to leave the house LOL. Even if I put it in the 30 for now until I can get the big tank taken care of.
  3. Might be interested in the GSP, been looking for some for a while but I have a pest problem (aiptasia) I'm dealing with ATM. Hopefully I get it resolved in time.
  4. If you introduce sand, coral, inverts or fish, it may all have a chance of carrying the ich parasite. The only thing is it can't host ich. It will free float around the tank until it finds a suitable host and do its thing. UV sterilizer a only work to kill the free floating parasite, not that is already on the fish. It is also up for debate if it sterilizes or just kills the parasites. Either way it's been known to make the water column clearer. Like mentioned above, ich is most likely present in your tank, just keep happy healthy fish and you won't have any bad dealings. It's the other stuff that's more concerning.
  5. Just wanted to say if anyone is looking for any Berghia there's a guy on Craigslist selling them. Actually just picked up 20 large ones myself. Cheap price too. 2 hour drive home home and they have a huge feast waiting!
  6. Thanks again! I'll have to see if I can get some now.
  7. Ever get a chance to find that number? Much appreciated!
  8. When I swap things over I might be looking for a home for 6 peppermint shrimps. Maybe more maybe less. Never see them. Also had a fire cleaner shrimp, haven't seen it in months. Heck I might even find my 2 missing firefish. Probably going to do the berghia and let them remove all. Once it's gone I'll have to redecorate and have to rescape the tank and use half the rock.
  9. I'm down to try anything right now. I have about 50 large ones and more popping up. About to change my floor so I'm going to be swapping everything minus rocks to my 110 while I do that I plan to fix my overflow, build a bigger sump and completely remodel the rock work. Also found out the peppermint might eat the nudie. My leather and kenya still grow just nothing but the aiptasia. Those I grow very well.
  10. Since my once beautiful tank is now a Aiptasia forest, I'm still in dire need of these. Any ideas on where to get them locally?
  11. I was too late to get them from Carters, so if anyone (hopefully locally around the Merced/Modesto area has them) let me know. Im looking for about 4-6 as well. Huge tank huge problem. Let me know. Thanks
  12. I won't be able to make it today to pick some up but I am very interested in getting a bunch. I have a huge infestation in my tank and I've been looking at picking up some of these. Let me know if you'll be able to do that and maybe even tomorrow. Funny thing is I was going to post last night on this forum on where I would be able to purchases these guys from too LOL.
  13. What would you be looking at trading it for? I have a sump and a Kessils a150 (15k) I might be interested in parting with.
  14. Both of mine do this. It's more like a camouflage technique I think they do it when they're trying to hide or are stressed. It's actually normal for them. Since he said it's new it's most likely because of the fact that it's just getting used to the tank and trying to find a nice sleeping spot.
  15. Thanks. I really have a soft spot for pits they are so misrepresented in the news. Actually I just found out this dog is a pit bull/basset hound mix. It seems like they're trying to make them smaller so the crossbreed was smaller dogs to get the miniature pitbull look. She does have the hound hunting LOL, with the energy and spunk of a pitbull. Now that she's getting more comfortable with me she's trying to play with my pitbull and my pit is a little bit older so she's not sure what to do.
