1, with a second, small one underneath. John said many were that way. -1/2 in the case of a tie breaker I guess.

Picked up my blasto frag about 2 hours ago at 7:30pm. I drip-acclimated it, dipped it in ReVive for a few minutes and moved it to a disc. Hope it opens up again!!!

You need to take my pictures.

If you were closer id be down. You need to hit up Ryan. He has mad skill and a better lens. Plus, I want to see what he comes up with shooting coral lately.

Okay, basically the same camera, (Rebel XSi), same lens. Tripod. I just can't get sharp focus! What am I doing wrong?

1/60 sec, f4.0. ISO 1600!!!! EF50mm f/1.8 II

Marius or Ryan. Can you hook him up? I'm a rookie with camera.

I think your iso is way too high. If you have to turn the iso up that high you need more light. I think that might be taking away from your sharpness. More light. Lower iso.

Here is what I do. Maybe something here could be helpful.

I use a tripod. I use the screen display. Zoom in and use manual focus. I can fine tune it way better that way. Get as close to subject as possible where the lens is sharp almost all the way turned clockwise. You want to shoot straight at the frag. Pumps off. Glass clean. Put the camera on 3 second timer so it shoots when you are not touching it. Iso at maybe 200-400. Shoot f4-6.

Don't give up. Have fun with it. Experiment with different settings.
