That happens with low light/flow areas with birdsnest. Especially with LEDs.

It's at the top of my tank and I'm running Xr30 G4's I thought that would be plenty. Its the top shadowing the lower part right? I actually pruned it and made some frags last night. I didn't want it to completely bleach out.

Its the way light travels with leds. T5 has less problems like that, but when I got rid of my birdsnest they were all dead inside, but the parts you could see were fine. I don't think you have any issues if everything else is fine.

I'm debating on if I should just get 2 gyre 250's and ditched these tunze's. I really feel I'm not getting enough flow as the growth on my corals sucks frown.png. It cant be my lighting I have pretty good lights I think.

They are doing OK as far as not dying lol! just none of them seem to be thriving or growing at least very fast anyway.  Fishofhex just did a video on his growth of corals and it's amazing!

They look good, just keep things stable and they will take off. You have room for way more acros!

The PH is the only thing I can't seem to keep steady, it goes from 7.9 to 8.2 from night to day. I am using Kalkwasser in my ATO.

I don't know why but I really feel like my flow isn't enough in the tank?

I just like have the gyre's make a big wave across the whole top of the tank where as the pumps like tunze and ecotechs are cone-shaped.

All work great, go with what you like. Vortechs are better. no wires, no heat, no mess, and proven to grow sps faster!
